Offering a variety of options to quench the needs of different fitness levels, mapped routes include (1) a loop through the Marin Headlands with views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco skyline, bird watching at Hawk Hill and the Lagoon, historic military gun placements, Rodeo Beach, and the Marine Mammal Sanctuary; (2) Tennessee Valley hike, run, or bike to the beach from the trail head, with a historic ship wreck and options of extended hikes; and (3) Angel Island, the “Ellis Island of the West,” including round-trip boat ride from Tiburon to Angel Island, spectacular views of the entire Bay Area, and exploration of Angel Island’s historical buildings and exhibits which highlight its use as a military base and immigration station. The Inn Above Tide will provide two Bikes, along with Sunscreen and Bottled Water. Adventurers will also be treated to a Picnic Lunch for two from Sausalito’s Venice Gourmet Deli, including vino.

Starting with two round-trip Ferry Tickets, guests will be delivered direct from the Inn to the iconic, gourmet playground of San Francisco’s Ferry Building. In addition to a Vendor Map of the Ferry Building and all it has to offer, the Inn Above Tide has included some extras: a $50 Gift Certificate to Heath Ceramics and a $25 Gift Certificate to Cowgirl Creamery – both Marin County-based artisans with a strong Bay Area following. For those seeking a literary guide to their getaway, the Inn has created an exclusive list of Bay Area-Based Authors whose works are available at Book Passage. Finally, a quick jaunt down the Embarcadero will lead to the new Exploratorium, San Francisco’s hands-on museum of science, art and human perception at Pier 15. Entrance tickets for two adults will ignite their curiosity through creative thought-provoking exhibits and experiences.

To take full advantage of the diverse creative producers here in Sausalito, The Inn Above Tide has curated an Insiders Look at the best of local artisans. This Weekend-Only Experience for Two features an exclusive chocolate tasting at the local Pick Me Up Chocolates and a sampler flight of local wines at neighboring tasting room Bacchus and Venus. Guests will also partake in a guided Tour of Heath Ceramics at the original Sausalito factory and headquarters of the popular Bay Area dinnerware and tableware accessories company. The experience is capped off with an in-room tasting of the Bay Area’s most celebrated Artisan Organic Cheese Company, Cowgirl Creamery, based in nearby Point Reyes. As a commemorative token, guests will be gifted an Inn Above Tide Dish exclusively created by local glassware artist Annie Glass.

The Sausalito Artisans experience is built for two and can be purchased for the all-inclusive cost of $125 with at least 24-hours notice, booked during the reservation process or upon arrival to the property. Heath Ceramics Factory Tours are available on Fridays at 11:15 am, and Saturdays and Sundays at 11:45 am or 2:30 pm.


To fully take advantage of The Inn Above Tide’s sumptuous soaking tubs, this Luxury Bath Kit can be ordered at a moment’s notice to enhance the in-room experience with the help of some relaxation aids and soothing spa extras. To set the tone, EO Bath Salts and Voluspa Aromatherapy Candle are included, along with Pommery POP Champagne and the relaxing “Mother’s Little Helper” Blend by David’s Tea.
